Jill Schulz, daughter of "Peanuts" creator Charles M. Schulz, is a busy woman.

She helps manage the massive "Peanuts" empire, especially Woodstock Ice Productions, drawing on her career as a professional ice skater. She also directs and choreographs the "All Wheels Xtreme" sports entertainment shows and still finds time for her husband, Aaron, and their two children, Kylie, 11, and Tyler, 7. She took time out of her day to chat with ParentDish about her dad, his legacy and the Peanuts 60th Anniversary Photo Look-A-Like contest.

ParentDish: I'm sure you've been asked this 100 times, but what's it like to be the daughter of a legend?

Jill Schulz:
I always say that he's the only dad I grew up with, so to me he was always a dad first. I learned a lot from my dad. His philosophy on working hard and enjoying what you do, and enjoying the process. We grew up in Northern California, so we didn't grow up in a sort of celebrity Beverly Hills-esque lifestyle. My parents were from Minnesota, so we were all fairly "Plain Jane." We just grew up in a regular "Brady Bunch"-style house in the country.

Ann and Nancy Wilson of Heart. Credit: Jon Kopaloff, FilmMagic

Ann and Nancy Wilson have had an amazing musical career.

As leaders of the rock group Heart, they've had numerous hit songs including "Crazy on You," "Magic Man," "These Dreams" and "Never." They acquired a new generation of fans when "Barracuda" was featured in the Guitar Hero 3 video game. They also performed the tune with Fergie on the television show "American Idol."

Their latest project aims at an even younger audience. Guitarist Nancy Wilson has released "Baby Guitars," a collection of original acoustic lullabies. The sisters also collaborated on "Dog & Butterfly," a children's book based on their hit song from 1979. ParentDish spoke to the Wilson sisters about their incredible longevity, the new book, their latest CD and how they balance being rock stars with being mothers.

ParentDish: How old were you when you started playing music together?

Nancy Wilson:
I was about 8 1/2, Ann was about 13. We were steeped in every kind of music, [we sang] as a family. We had music coming out of our pores. It was a natural when we saw The Beatles on TV to head straight for those guitars. [Laughs.]

Jon Gosselin

Jon Gosselin is a husband and father who became famous appearing on the TLC reality show "Jon and Kate Plus 8." The show follow the lives of Jon, his wife Kate Gosselin, and their eight children -- fraternal twins Cara and Madelyn, born in 2000, and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah and Joel, born in 2004.

Jon Gosselin was born on April 1, 1977, in Wyomissing, Penn. A high school graduate, Jon worked as an IT analyst prior to becoming a reality show celebrity.

Jon Gosselin met his future wife Kate Kreider in 1997, and the couple married on June 12, 1999. After Kate was diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome, the couple turned to fertility treatments and became pregnant with twins Cara and Madelyn, who were born on October 8, 2000. In 2003, Jon Gosselin and his wife again turned to fertility treatments to become pregnant. On May 10, 2004, Jon and Kate Gosselin became parents to sextuplets.

Jon Gosselin and his family first appeared on television in 2004 on an NBC special called "Home Delivery." Other specials followed and in April 2007, "Jon and Kate Plus 8" began airing as a regular series on TLC. In 2009, after eight seasons of "Jon and Kate Plus 8," rumors began to swirl that Jon Gosselin and his wife were having marital problems. In May 2009, photos of Jon Gosselin partying with female students at a Juniata College party surfaced. More photos showing Jon Gosselin dancing with young women at a local bar were released later.

After Jon was photographed with young women, the couple addressed the situation on their show. Denying that his marriage was on the rocks, Jon Gosselin claimed that he had never cheated on his wife. Despite obvious strains in the relationship, the couple continued to film the reality show. In June 2009, Jon and Kate announced on the show that their marriage was over. Despite a growing backlash, the couple continued to allow cameras into their home.

Jon Gosselin quickly moved on from his relationship with Kate and began dating other women. He was accused of having a relationship with his children's nanny as well as Kate Major, a Star Magazine reporter. After numerous photos were published showing Jon Gosselin with Hailey Glassman, the daughter of Kate Gosselin's plastic surgeon, Jon admitted that he and Glassman were dating.

In September 2009, TLC announced that Jon Gosselin had been dropped from "Jon and Kate Plus 8" and that the show would now focus on Kate as a single mother. Within days, Jon Gosselin demanded that TLC cease and desist filming at the couple's Pennsylvania home, and the show's production was halted indefinitely.

Jon and Kate's split continues to play out in public. In a recent interview with ParentDish, Jon discussed his his relationship with Kate, his children and his girlfriend. He also revealed that he is in the process of writing a book about his life.

Michelle Obama, A Really Close Second

Where do you fall in the priority line-up in your family? If you're like most women, you put everyone else first. Michelle Obama has a better approach; she puts herself "a really close second" after her kids.

In an interview with Katie Couric for Glamour magazine's Woman of the Year issue, the First Lady said it was much more difficult to find a work-family balance when she was a senator's wife. Now that she's in the White House, with all its accompanying staff support, life has gotten easier.

While we all can't have that 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue address, Obama encourages moms to reach out and ask for help where they can find it.

Her Scrubs alter ego is a mother, but 42-year-old Judy Reyes is expecting her first child in early December.

"Just two weeks ago, I started getting into the physically uncomfortable and emotional oh my- gosh-she's-coming place," Reyes told Life & Style Weekly during her baby shower at Santa Monica's Casa Del Mar hotel on Nov. 1. "I live in the Hollywood Hills, and I pass the Wonderland Avenue School with all the moms and dads bringing their little girls to school in their little outfits. That's going to be me!"

Indeed, it's a girl for the actress and boyfriend George Valencia, and they couldn't be happier. "I wouldn't know what to do with a boy," Reyes said. "Dressing her is going to be a lot of fun!"

Kate Gosselin Wig: The Perfect Halloween Costume?

Kate Gosselin Halloween costumes are proving to be a popular choice this year. But with Kate Gosselin wigs being hard to come by, just how does one dress up like the reality show mom of eight? We are here to help with Kate Gosselin Halloween Costume tips.
  • If you can't get a Kate Gosselin wig, you will have to make your own. A blond wig chopped very short and spiked in the back with long, highlighted pieces framing the face is really all you need. Make sure a large chunk of hair is falling across your right eye.
  • Carry a bulging pocketbook with an IOU for $180,000 signed by soon-to-be ex-husband Jon Gosselin.
  • Two words: Tanning Lotion.
  • Kate Gosselin's style isn't hard to mimic. Over-sized sunglasses, a red leather jacket with an above-the-knee skirt and a permanent scowl practically screams Kate Gosselin.
  • For an added touch, carry an Ed Hardy t-shirt and occasionally use it to wipe the floor.

Jude Law's New Baby Makes Her First Appearance

Jude Law's baby daughter Sophia has had her first taste of what her life will be like - she nabbed the front cover of a magazine at the tender age of one month.

Sophia's mother, model Samantha Burke, reckons the baby looks like her Hollywood star father.

She says the baby has Jude's "pout."

The 25-year-old model got pregnant during a "fling" with Jude after they met at a nightclub.

Samantha has also been telling Hello! magazine about their first encounter.

She said: "I instantly knew who he was, but he seemed really funny - he was cracking jokes with people and he included me in that. The next thing I knew I was on the pavement outside, being twirled around - it was a lot of fun. Following that initial meeting, Jude and I went out several times. He was a lot of fun to be around, always making me laugh."

'Motherhood' Movie Director Dishes

"Motherhood" director Katherine Dieckmann told ParentDish how she felt about making a movie about the misery of the job. Here's what Dieckmann had to say, in her own words ...

When I started writing "Motherhood," a movie I also directed, which opens today, I never imagined some fictionalized version of myself being incarnated by Uma Thurman. I think moms everywhere might agree how very distant that concept seems when you're washing vomit-stained sheets after staying up all night with a sick child, or when you're trying to take an unexpected work call from home without ever letting anyone on the other end realize the kids are in the next room being medicated by "SpongeBob SquarePants."

Diary of a Guest Co-Host of 'The View'

Last week I co-hosted The View and with Elisabeth Hasselbeck out on maternity leave, I was the lone resident conservative. I arrived a little frazzled because my hotel had failed to give me my wake-up call. As a result, I was 45 minutes late to the meeting that takes place behind-the-scenes during hair and makeup sessions, where the show's Hot Topics are debated and decided.

When I entered the makeup room, I was greeted warmly by Bill Geddie -- the executive producer, Barbara Walters, Joy Behar and a staff that appears to have had virtually no turnover since I first appeared on "The View" more than 10 years ago. It was here, during hair and makeup, that I met Whoopi Goldberg for the first time.

Chatty and utterly unassuming as she noshed on a 10 a.m. bag of Doritos, it was easy to see how she so effortlessly inhabits the friendly and down-to-earth characters she portrays in so many of my favorite movies.

Actress Holly Robinson Peete: I Wish John Travolta Had Spoken Out Sooner

Ten months after son Jett's death, John Travolta finally admitted during an extortion trial that the 16-year-old had suffered from autism. Actress Holly Robinson Peete, whose 12-year-old son, Rodney Jr., also has the disorder, says she wishes John had spoken sooner.

"Were there times I said to myself, Ooh, if somebody that A-list comes out, what could he do for the movement? Yeah, I wished that," the former 21 Jump Street star tells Life & Style.

Still, she says, "I don't blame the Travoltas for not talking about it. I would never tell someone what to say about their kid."

Along with her husband, former NFL star Rodney Peete, Holly founded the HollyRod Foundation, which raises money for families dealing with autism and similar conditions. She says it was a family decision for the Peetes to go public with Rod Jr.'s condition, and she hopes John can find solace in doing the same.

"The fact that posthumously he had to say that on the stand, I wasn't glad about it," she says. "But I was relieved he was able to have closure."
